O presente trabalho tem como objetivo a investigação da interlocução de pessoas com deficiência intelectual nos museus de arte brasileiros. Entende-se que há um enorme potencial destas pessoas com deficiência ainda a ser explorado e que os serviços educativos estão despertando para ele. O objetivo da avaliação dos processos de aprendizagem é alcançar melhorias no atendimento educativo, qualidade de vida destes sujeitos na família e na sociedade que os rodeia. A identificação das ferramentas pedagógicas usadas nas ações educativas aliada às avaliações da apreensão dos conteúdos apresentados nas visitas, foram feitas por meio de entrevistas com educadores dos museus de arte que tem tradição nos atendimentos a pessoas com deficiência intelectual. A análise comparativa dos Museus de Arte Moderna, Pinacoteca do Estado e Museu de Arte Contemporânea da Universidade de São Paulo foi feita juntamente com dados obtidos dos atendimentos do Museu de Arte Moderna de Nova Iorque. Como resultado, fizemos sugestões pedagógicas a serem aplicadas nas ações educativas feitas com pessoas com deficiência intelectual, com o intuito de melhorar a participação e aproveitamento destes sujeitos nas visitas educativas.

The present work aims to investigate the dialogue of people with intellectual disabilities in Brazilian art museums. It is understood that there is an enormous potential of these people with disabilities still to be explored and that educational services are awakening to it. The objective of the evaluation of the learning processes is to achieve improvements in the educational service, quality of life of these subjects in the family and in the society that surrounds them. The identification of the pedagogical tools used in the educational actions, together with the evaluations of the apprehension of the contents presented in the visits, were carried out through interviews with educators from art museums that have a tradition in assisting people with intellectual disabilities. The comparative analysis of the Museums of Modern Art, Pinacoteca do Estado and the Museum of Contemporary Art of the University of São Paulo was carried out together with data obtained from visits to the Museum of Modern Art in New York. As a result, we made pedagogical suggestions to be applied in educational actions carried out with people with intellectual disabilities, in order to improve the participation and use of these subjects in educational visits.
