A presente pesquisa debruça-se sobre a contextualização histórica de duas áreas, Teatro e Museologia, tendo como foco a cenografia. Recupera conceitos específicos pertencentes ao estudo dos processos museológicos e verifica o uso dos mesmos no trabalho de artistas que atuam tanto na cenografia teatral quanto na Expografia, em especial o percurso de Daniela Thomas e Felipe Tassara. Além da pesquisa teórica, o estudo conta com uma entrevista cedida pelos artistas sobre o trabalho desenvolvido por sua empresa T+T Projetos, dentro e fora dos espaços expositivos, bem como sobre três projetos escolhidos: Clarice Lispector - A Hora da Estrela, Museu da Língua Portuguesa (MLP), São Paulo (2007); Exposição de longa duração, Museu da Imigração (MI), São Paulo (2010); CONTRA-ATAQUE! As Mulheres do Futebol, Museu do Futebol (MF), São Paulo (2019). Os artistas possuem um extenso trabalho em teatro, firmaram parceria no teatro há mais de 36 anos e foram também responsáveis pela Expografia e pela curadoria de diversas exposições, em que se verificam traços da Museologia Crítica, colocando-os no hall da Expografia brasileira contemporânea. As hipóteses que se quer verificar com o presente estudo são sobre a possibilidade da comparação entre o fazer teatral e o pensamento museológico quanto ao tratamento do espaço e encontro com o público, e a verificação da existência de um Pensamento Épico Político (ou crítico da sociedade) no trabalho dos cenógrafos ao criar suas exposições. Nossa análise observa na prática da Expografia conceitos estudados na teoria da Museologia, como o objeto musealizado, o Objeto-Devir, sistemas de relacionamento entre a exposição e o visitante, a narrativa na cenografia e a Museologia Crítica aplicada ao espaço de exposição, demonstrando no espaço a dialogia e a dialética, presentes tanto no Teatro Épico Político quanto na Museologia Crítica. Pretendese contribuir para o pensamento multidisciplinar da Museologia por meio de um processo de pesquisa que pretende tratar sobre dois campos de conhecimento de forma igualitária.

The present research recovers the historical development of two fields of study, Theatre and Museology, focusing on Scenography. It theoretically approaches concepts that are specific to the study of the museological work and observes how they fit the practice of artists resourcing to theatre scenography as much as to Expography, with special attention to the works of Daniela Thomas and Felipe Tassara. Beyond a theoretical approach, this study also includes an interview with the artists on the projects developed by their company, T+T Projects, within and outside the exhibition rooms. It focuses on three appointed projects: Clarice Lispector - A Hora da Estrela/ The Hour of the Star, The New Museum of the Portuguese Language (MLP), São Paulo (2007); Long-term exhibition, Immigration Museum (MI), São Paulo (2010); COUNTER ATTACK! Women in Soccer, The Football Museum (MF), São Paulo (2019). The artists have a long history of working with theatre, in a lasting partnership of over 36 years, being responsible for the Expography and curatorship of many exhibitions in which we can identify aspects of Critical Museology as they make into the hall of contemporary Brazilian Expography. Our hypothesis regards the possibility of comparing theatrical practice and the museological perspective on space and the presence of the audience, recognizing an Epic Tradition of Political Theory (critical in relation to society) in the works of the scenographers while they develop the concept of the exhibitions. Our analysis recovers important theoretical concepts in museological theory that guide the practice of Expography, such as the musealized object, the Object-Devir, the network systems connecting exhibition and visitors, the scenographic narrative. It investigates Critical Museology applied to the exhibition venue, recognizing the dialogic and the dialectics present in the room, a legacy of the Political Epic Theater Tradition as much as of the Critical Museology. We intend to contribute to a multidisciplinary thinking in Museology bridging the two fields of knowledge across.
