Este estudo surgiu da experiência da autora como auditora do Internato de Medicina em uma Universidade privada de São Paulo. O foco é transformar a auditoria feita por profissionais de saúde em uma IES, visando trazer novas abordagens que valorizem a competência do auditor, usada para avaliar continuamente a experiência de ensino. O debate sobre usar a auditoria como ferramenta de avaliação para o internato busca melhorar o aprendizado na prática clínica e a qualidade do curso. Contribuindo para a formação de profissionais alinhados com as necessidades de saúde do país. Objetivo: Discutir o modelo de auditoria como um instrumento de avaliação pedagógica no Internato de Medicina, apresentar critérios de avaliação como experiência pedagógica e desenvolver um manual de auditoria como instrumento de avaliação pedagógica do Internato de Medicina. Método: Foi realizada uma Revisão Integrativa e a pesquisa foi realizada em duas bases de dados, Lilacs e Medline (via portal BVS), a amostra desta revisão constituiu-se de 18 artigos. Resultados: Embora nenhum estudo tenha abordado diretamente o tópico desta pesquisa, a análise revelou que a "Avaliação Educacional Médica" foi amplamente discutida em 10 artigos (62,5%). Essas fontes enriqueceram as reflexões deste estudo. A partir dos resultados, foi concebida uma proposta de Manual de Auditoria destinado a orientar os cenários de ensino-aprendizagem. Conclusão: A auditoria dentro das IES desempenha um papel importante ao promover abordagens que garantem uma avaliação contínua da experiência educacional. Apesar de estar inserido de forma indireta nos processos educativos, o auditor tem um papel significativo ao facilitar a ligação entre a academia e os serviços de saúde, contribuindo para a reflexão do conhecimento subjacente à prática pedagógica. Com base nas conclusões, foi elaborado um manual para apoiar e incentivar os profissionais de saúde, no processo de implantação de auditoria dentro de uma IES.

This study originated from the author's experience as an auditor in the Medical Internship program at a private university in São Paulo. The focus is to transform the auditing carried out by healthcare professionals in an educational institution, aiming to introduce novel approaches that emphasize the competence of auditors, which is utilized to continuously evaluate the teaching experience. The discourse surrounding the utilization of auditing as an assessment tool for the internship program aims to enhance learning in clinical practice and the overall quality of the course, consequently contributing to the formation of professionals aligned with the nation's healthcare demands. Objective: To discuss the auditing model as a pedagogical assessment instrument in the Medical Internship program, to present evaluation criteria related to pedagogical experience, and to develop an auditing manual as a pedagogical assessment tool for the Medical Internship program. Method: An Integrative Review was conducted, utilizing two databases, Lilacs and Medline (via the BVS portal). The sample for this review comprised 18 articles. Results: While no study directly addressed the topic of this research, the analysis revealed that "Medical Educational Evaluation" was extensively discussed in 10 articles (62.5%). These sources enriched the reflections of this study. Based on the results, a proposal for an Auditing Manual was conceived, intended to guide educational settings. Conclusion: Auditing within educational institutions plays a crucial role in promoting approaches that ensure ongoing evaluation of the educational experience. Despite being indirectly involved in educational processes, the auditor holds a significant role in facilitating the connection between academia and healthcare services, contributing to the contemplation of knowledge underlying pedagogical practice. Based on the conclusions drawn, a manual was developed to support and encourage healthcare professionals in the implementation of auditing within an educational institution.
