MINERALOGIA DO SOLO
Abstract in English
In this paper the clay fraction’s mineralogy of three soil profiles classified at series level was characterized. The results obtained show the caolinites domination in all profiles, and the occurrence of halloysita in the samples examined on the electron microscope. The final mineralogical data interpretation permitted to establish the soils weathering sequence: LVE -> TRE -> L.R.
