Abstract in English
This work was carried out with the aim of studying the effects of macronutrients on the growth and chemical composition of the early growth of cashew plants (Anacardium occidentale. L) cultivated in sand culture. Cashew plants of 60 days old were transferred to pets containing silica sand. The nutrient solutions of HOAGLAND & ARNON (1950) modified, with and without the presence of macronutrients, were used. Symptoms of lack of N, P, K, Ca, Mg, and S, were observed and described. As soon as symptoms of deficiency appeared, the plants were harvested and divided in the following fractions: upper leaves, lower leaves, stem and root. Nitrogen, phosphorus and sulfur affected the development of the plants. The macronutrients concentrations., determined from the fractions of the plants, were the following: (See Dissertation).
