EVAPOTRANSPIRAÇÃO
Abstract in English
The present paper deals with the determination of the effect of instrumental errors on the calculation of evapotranspiration by the method of energy balance, comparing the effects of errors in temperature. Of dry and wet bulbs measurements at 2 levels with those regarding the temperature differences between these levels. The model adopted was simplified to fit the vertical transfer of energy, disregarding the variations in the stored energy in the system. The instrumental error in Rn - G was of 10% and the psychrometric error was of 1% in calibration, plus the resolution limit of 0.01 mV in the potentiometric measurements, utilizing thermocouples of copper-constantan. The effect of errors in the psychrometric measurements on the calculation of evapotranspiration was proportional to the Bowen ratio value. The utilization of temperature measurements brought about larger errors than the measurements of differences in temperature between levels. In the latter case, in order to make the error smaller and facilitate its analysis as well, the S value must be obtained from independent measurements of the temperatures of the humid bulbs at both levels.
