Abstract in English
The aim of this work was to know the susceptibility of the mites Tetranychus (T.) mexicanus (Mc Gregor, 1950) Pritchard & Baker, 1955 and Tetranychus (T.) ludeni Zacher, 1913, to acaricides and to insecticides monocrotophos, dicofol, phosphamidon, demeton-S-methyl, Thiocron, tetradifon, DDT, lindane, chlorphenamidine, Milbex and endrin through their residual action. Tetranychus (T.) urticae (Koch, 1836) Boudreaux & Dosse, 1963 to acaricides dicofol, Milbex, demeton-S-methyl and endrin; Tetranychus (T.) desertorum Banks, 1900 to acaricides phosphamidon and endrin. T. mexicanus and T. ludeni showed a great sensitiveness to the most of tested products, while T. urticae and T. desertorum were, althought in different degree, sensitive to all tested products. By means of the same process an attempt was also made to know the susceptibility of T. urticae obtained from different places, and tests showed differences when comparing the sources which proved the field population to be more resistant than the laboratory one. It was also found through immersion and pulverization methods the sensitiveness of the mites T. ludeni, T. urticae and Tetranychus (T.) cinnabarinus (Boisduval, 1867) Boudreaux, 1956 to the acaricides chlorabenzylate and monocrotophos, and the LC50 was calculated from these; it was concluded that T. ludeni is the most sensitive to any tested method and product. Tests were carried out in order to find out the action of the ovicides tetradifon, chlorphenamidine and dicofol; tetradifon and chlorphenamidine were employed in immersion of eggs on leaves process, pulverization of eggs and females sterilizing and the LC50 being calculated for every method; dicofol was only tested by eggs immersion process. It was concluded then that the three products were efficient in every tested method. It was proved the susceptibility of mites T. cinnabarinus and T. ludeni to systemic action of monocrotophos and the LC50 was calculated, from what it may be concluded that T. ludeni is the most sensitive.
