UMIDADE RELATIVA DO AR

Development of a low-cost system for relative humidity and air temperature data collecting
Abstract in English
Due to the importance of the bioclimatic environrnent to animal and vegetal production and, therefore, a proper environrnental control, this paper aims the construction of an automatized system for relative humidity and air temperature data acquisition, using a low-cost micro controller of reduced dimensions. A capacitor and a termistor were respectively employed as relative humidity and temperature sensors. Their calibration stages, for natural and artificial situations, and the methodology developed are presented, as well as the electronic assembly diagram and the humidity and thermal monitoring program. Based on the results we can conclude that the system can be safely used for monitoring such variables
