O presente trabalho foi realizado a partir de informações meteorológicas obtidas no município de Pelotas (RS). Tentou-se compor modelos matemáticos que viessem a expressar a dependência das diversas características fenológicas do pessegueiro aos parâmetros meteorológicos. A cultivar de pessegueiro utilizada foi a Capdeboscq, e os parâmetros dos períodos de julho a janeiro de 1969 a 1980, ou seja, da plena floração ao pico da maturação. O modelo matemático procurado foi a partir de regressão múltipla e o que mais se ajustou para estimativa do ciclo foi: y (ciclo/dias) = 128,29 - 48,81 (Tm/5) + 77,34 (T/20) + 86,09 (TM/27) + 26,47 (ETr/ETp) e para peso médio de fruto foi: Y (peso médio frutos/g.) = 4.808,52 + 1. 527 ,51 (Tm/12,5) - 1.732,98 (T/17,5) - 791,20 (TM/23) - 597 ,24 (n/N) + 436,72 (ETr/ETp) - 4.731,65 (UA/ US).

The present work was carried out with meteorological information obtained in the município of Pelotas, State of Rio Grande do Sul. These meteorological parameters were utilized in an attempt to form mathematical models to express the dependence of the various phenologic phases of peac h trees on the meteorological factors. The peach cultivar ulilized was the Capdeboscq, and the parameters for periods July-January from 1969 to 1980, i.e., from ful1 bloom to maturation peak. The mathematical model was formed from multiple regression, and the one which was best fitted for cycle estimation was: y (cycles/days) = 128,29 - 48,81 (Tm/5) + 77,34 (T/20) + 86,09 (TM/27) + 26,47 (ETr/ETp) and for mean fruit weight: Y (mean fruit weight/g.) = 4.808,52 + 1. 527 ,51 (Tm/12,5) - 1.732,98 (T/17,5) - 791,20 (TM/23) - 597 ,24 (n/N) + 436,72 (ETr/ETp) - 4.731,65 (UA/ US).
