Keywords in Portuguese

FEIJÃO
Title in English
A study of resistances to the water vapour transport above a bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) crop
Abstract in English
The objective of this work was to determine the vertical latent heat flux and the corresponding resistances related to micrometeorological and physiological parameters of a bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) crop cv. Aroana 80. The experiment was carried out in 1984 summer at the Agriculture College ESALQ - University of S. Paulo, Pi racicaba County, S. Paulo Sta te, Brazil where all the mi crome teorological and physiological measurements were taken. Energy (diurnal cycle) and water balance (periods) were computed for the · analysis in the final vegetative and initial blooming stages. The results showed good correlation between aero dynamic and canopy resistances with micrometeorological parameters, as well as the canopy resistance was related to the physiological parameters.
