Foram conduzidos seis experimentos em Londrina - PR com os cultivares Carioca, lapar-57 e Rosinha com objetivo de quantificar os danos causados pela infecção conjunta de Phaeoisariopsis griseola e Colletotrichum lindemuthianum e avaliar o efeito das doenças sobre a área foliar, as variáveis de área foliar sadia e os componentes de produção. Utilizou-se o método da planta individual, onde 48 a 54 plantas foram marcadas com fita plástica em cada experimento. A área de todas as folhas nas plantas marcadas foi estimada semanalmente. A avaliação de severidade das doenças foi feita simultaneamente com a avaliação de área foliar. Cada experimento foi composto de quatro tratamentos: inoculação com P. griseola, inoculação com Colletotrichum lindemuthianum, inoculação com os dois patógenos e não inoculação e pulverização com fungicidas. Os cultivares Carioca e Iapar-57 apresentaram maior porcentagem de desfolha nos tratamentos inoculados com P. griseola e com os dois patógenos. Observou-se maior redução no número de folhas nas plantas do cultivar Iapar-57 quando comparado ao cultivar Carioca. Aos 54 dias após a semeadura os cultivares lapar-57 e Carioca apresentaram redução média no número de folhas de respectivamente, 70% e 31 %, para os três tratamentos com inoculação. As plantas inoculadas tiveram folhas com menor área em comparação às plantas do controle e as plantas do cv. lapar-57 inoculadas com mancha angular tiveram 78% de redução aos 61 d.a.s. A redução média em HLAI no tratamento com mancha angular foi de 85% entre 32 d.a.s. e 82 d.a.s. para o cv. lapar-57. A AUDPC não apresentou correlação com os componentes de produção. As variáveis de área foliar sadia HAD e HAA apresentaram correlação com os componentes de produção número de vagens/m2, número de sementes/m2 e produção (g/m2). Os coeficientes de determinação (R2) das regressões entre HAD e produção e HAA e produção dos seis experimentos variaram entre 0,62 e 0,90, 0,59 e 0,85, respectivamente. Effect of the joint infection of Phaeoisariopsis griseola and Colletotrichum lindemuthianum on the yield components and on the variables of leaf area of bean

Six experiments were carried out in Londrina - PR with the cultivars Carioca, lapar-57 and Rosinha with the objective of quantifying the damage caused by the joint infection of Phaeoisariopsis griseola and Colletotrichum lindemuthianum and evaluating the effect of the diseases on the leaf area, the leaf area variables and the yield components. The method of the individual plant was used, and 48 to 54 plants were marked with plastic tape in each trial. The leaf area of all leaves on each marked plant was estimated weekly. The assessment of the severity of the diseases was done simultaneously with the evaluation of leaf area. Each experiment was composed of four treatments: inoculation with P. griseola, inoculation with Colletotrichum lindemuthianum, inoculation with both pathogens and non inoculation and sprayed with fungicides. The cultivars Carioca and lapar-57 have shown larger percentage of defoliation in the treatments inoculated with P. griseola and with both pathogens. Larger reduction was observed in the number of leaves on the plants of the cultivar lapar-57 when compared to the cultivar Carioca. On the 54th day after sowing the cultivars lapar-57 and Carioca presented 70% and 31 % respectively, of avarege reduction in the number of leaves for the three treatments with inoculation. The inoculated plants had leaves with smaller area compared with the control plants, and the plants of the cv. lapar-57 inoculated with angular leaf spot had 78% of reduction on 61 d.a.s. The avarege reduction of HLAI in the treatment with angular leaf spot was 85% between 32 d.a.s. and 82 d.a.s. for the cv. lapar-57. AUDPC hasn't shown any correlation with the yield components. The variables of healthy leaf area, HAD and HAA, have shown correlation with the yield components number of pods/m2 , number of seeds/m2 and yield (g/m2). The coefficients of determination (R2) of the regressions between yield and HAD and yield and HAA for the six experiments ranged between 0.62 and 0.90, 0.59 and 0.85, respectively. The relationships yield and HAD and yield and HAA were different between the experiments depending on the cultivar, harvest time and year
