Foram avaliados os efeitos dos fungicidas benomyl, captan, oxicloreto de cobre, captafol, oxicarboxin, PCNB, thiram, terrazol, carboxin e mancozeb nas concentrações de 1, 10 e 100 ppm sobre o crescimento micelial dos fungos ectomicorrízicos P. tinctorius e T. terrestres. Os fungicidas mais tóxicos foram PCNB, thiram e carboxin, os quais inibiram os fungos nas três dosagens usadas. Benomyl e terrazol apresentaram um efeito estimulante na concentração de 1 ppm sobre P. tinctorius. Nos demais casos, quando houve, efeito este foi moderado. Foi analisado também o efeito de benomyl, captan, PCNB, mancozeb e thiram sobre a formação de ectomicorrizas em mudas P. caribaea var. hondurensis inoculadas artificialmente com T. terrestres. A formação de ectomicorriza foi altamente estimulada por benomyl, onde 68% das raízes laterais curtas apresentaram-se micorrizadas e no tratamento com captan 22%. Mancozeb e thiram apresentaram urna porcentagem muito baixa de micorriza (4% e 6%, respectivamente). PCNB teve um efeito negativo na simbiose, evitando a formação de ectomicorriza. Foi estudado o efeito sistêmico de benomyl em mudas de P. caribaea var. hondurensis utilizando-se com o fungo teste Cylindrocladium pteridis que apresentou sensibilidade a 0,2 ppm desse fungicida em batata-dextrose-agar. Em testes realizados 10 e 20 dias apôs a Última aplicação do fungicida no solo, evidenciou-se a translocação ascendente do produto, sendo o mesmo detectado em maior quantidade na raíz (10 dias) e no caule e acículas (20 dias) D havendo uma distribuição mais ou menos uniforme do produto dentro da planta. evidenciando assim que os tratamentos para controle da queima de acículas causada por C. pteridis pode ser feito com aplicação de benomyl no solo

The effects of benomyl, captan, copper oxicloride, captafol, oxicarboxin, PCNB, thiram, terrazol, carboxin and mancozeb on the rnycelial growing of the ectomycorrhizae fungi P. tinctorius e T. terrestres, were studied at the concentrations of 1, 10 and 100 ppm. PCNB, thirarn and carboxin were the must toxic fungicides against both fungi. They were highly inhibitory at all concentrations tested. Benomyl and terrazol showed stimulant effect on P. tinctorius at the concentration of 1 ppm . Others effects for others fungicides and concentration, if occurred were slight. It was also analysed the effect of benomyl, captan, PCNB, mancozeb and thiram on the ectomycorrhizal formation in P. caribaea var. hondurensis seedlings artificially inoculated with T. terrestris. Ectomycorrhizal formation was highly stimulated by benomyl. For this fungicide 68% of the feeder r oots showed mycorrhizae and for captan 22%. Mancozeb and thiram presented a very low mycorrhizal formation (4% and 6% respectivally). PCNB had a negative effect on symbiosis, preventing ectomycorrhizal formation. It was studied the systernic effect of benomyl on P. caribaea var. hondurensis seedlings by using Cylindrocladium pteridis as the test fungus that showed sensitivity at 0.2 ppm to this fungicide in potato-dextrose-agar medium.10 and 20 days after the soil application of the fungicide, it was observed the ascendent translocation of the product. It was detected in higher amount in the root (10 days), and stern and needles (20 days) leading to quite homogeneous distribuition of the product inside the plant. It was shown that Cylindrocladium needle blight of pine can be controlled by the aplication of benomyl in the soil.
