Abstract in English
RALF is a 5kDa peptide hormone ubiquitous in different species of the plant kingdom that regulates cell expansion. AtRALF1 is a root-specific isoform of 37 present in Arabidopsis thaliana that negatively regulates root growth by intracellular calcium mobilization and inhibition of proton secretion (H+). In this work was studied the localization and intracellular trafficking of the AtRALF1 peptide.
