Effect of soil moisture, disk tilt and plowing speed on some physical characteristics of a Latossolo Roxo soil
Abstract in English
The purpose of the present research was to study the effect of soil moisture, disk tilt and plowing speed on some physical characteristics of a Latossolo Roxo soil. The experiment consisted of eight treatments plus the check and was set out on a randomized block design. A disk plow was utilized with two vertical angles (15º and 22º) and at two forward speed (2,73 km/h and 6,64 km/h). Two soil moisture content were used (29,20 and 27,20%). The following soil parameters were studied: bulk density soil unity weight, void ratio, porosity, saturation degree, soil strength to penetration, soil strength to unconfined uniaxial compression and aggregate stability. Results showed significant differences among tretments
