Abstract in English
This experiment was conducted in greenhouse with the aim of studying some aspeits of nutritional habit of this oleaginous plant, on a soil classified as sandy, Paredão Vermelho serie (Rhodochrult). Fertilizers (0 - 25 - 50 - 100 e 200 kg N/ha as urea; 0 - 50 - 100 - 200 e 400 kg P2O5 as phosphoric acid and 0 - 25 - 50 - 100 e 200 kg K2O as potassium chloride) were applied in the pots 30 days after liming the soil with 6 t/ha of dolomitic limestone and 350 kg/ha of gypsum as a sulphur source. The cultivar IAC-ouro was seeded. Dry matter yield, seed yield, nutrients concentrations, accumulation of nutrients in the shoot and seed, and oil content in the seed, were evaluated. According to the results, phosphorus was the nutrient wich gave markedly bigger dry matter yield until 40 days. No correlation was found between rates of NPK and concentration of these nutrients and oil percentage in the seeds. Besides, rates of potassium did not influence for the most part of the aspects which were studied.
