Influency of the irrigationSaccharum officinarum L) production
Abstract in English
To verify influency of the depth of irrigation and levels of the nitrogen the sugar-cane (Saccharum spp) variety RB70194, was conducted experiment in the Rio Largo region, Alagoas State, Brazil, in Latosol Yellow-Red distrofic, during the period of the september of 1981 to October of 1983. The experimentals plots was delineates in randomized block, with arrange split block, with five depth of irrigation disposed in strip parallels to line of the aspersion, and four levels of the mineral N disposed in strips perpendicular that lines. These treatment was repeat four times, been strips with mineral N casualized into each repetition. The experiment was irrigated with aspersion system constantly fixed disposed in the field in accord with methodology definided by HANKS et allii (1976), denominated "line-source sprinkler irrigation system for crop production studies". The magnitude of the height of rain that happened during experiment period, principally in plant-cane, and the varietal genetics and agronomic characteristics, had influence in the significance of the results of production of cane and/or product of sugar obtained. In function of the data collected, analysis and interpretations realized, was esteemed one frequence of the irrigation of seven days in plant-cane and of six days for ratoon-cane. The efficiency of the water use was of the 0,003 and 0,004 kg/l of the water for cane and sugar, respectively, in plant-cane, and of the 0,002 kg/l the water of cane and/or sugar in ratoon-cane. The physical maximum productions of cane and of the sugar was, respectively, 117 and 17,80 t/ha to plant-cane, and 101 and 15,94 t/ha to the ratoon-cane, corresponded to depth of irrigation of the 950 and 970 mm. It had not significance statistics of the interactions studied in no one variable.
