Nesta pesquisa, através de um lisímetro de nível freático constante, foi estudada a evapotranspiração potencial da cana-de-açúcar (ETc) no ciclo de 1ª soca, utilizando-se a variedade NA56-79, nas condições edafoclimáticas de Arara-SP. O consumo total de água no ciclo foi de ordem de 1063, 4mm, ficando estabelecido que o consumo médio de 3,00mm.dia -1 pode ser utilizado com segurança no cálculo das necessidades de água para projetos de irrigação localizados em regiões com condições edafoclimáticas semelhantes às deste experimento. Determinou-se que foram necessários 12,1 e 71, 4mm de água para produzir, respectivamente, uma tonelada de cana-de-açúcar e açúcar. A partir dos valores medidos de ETc, foram obtidos os coeficientes-de-cultura (Kc) aplicáveis à evapotranspiração potencial de referência (ETo) determinada pelos métodos de Penman, tanque Classe A e Thornthwaite. Os valores de KcP, KcA, e KcT, relativos aos 3 estágios de desenvolvimento estabelecidos para o ciclo vegetativo de cana-soca, obtidos foram os seguintes: PID (0 a 100 dias ) KcP-0,41 KcA- 0,39 KcT- 0,59, PMD (101 a 350 dias) KcP- 0,73 KcA- 0,80 KcT- 0,93, PM (351 a 489 dias) KcP- 0,78 KcA- 0,71 KcT- 0,94. Concluiu-se, também, que ao nível de 5% de probabilidade KcP e KcA não diferiram estatisticamente entre si, mas ambos diferiram estatisticamente de KcT

Determination of sugarcane crop coefficients (kc): ratoon cycle
Abstract in English
This research studies, by means of a lysimeter at constant phreatic level, potential evapotranspiration of sugarcane (ETc) in 1st ratoon cycle, using the variety NA56-79 planted under edapho-climatic conditions of Araras-SP. The total water consumption was about 1063.4mm. It was defined that an average consumption of 3.00mm.day-1 can be used in the calculation of water requeriments for projects of irrigation in regions with the same edapho-climatic conditions of this experiment. It was determined that 12.1mm and 71.4mm of water were needed to produce a ton of cane and sugar respectively. The crop coefficients (Kc) applicable to the reference potential evapotranspiration (ETo), determined by the methods of Penman, Class A pan and Thornthwaite, were obtained from the measured values of ETc. The values of KcP, KcA, and KcT established for the 3 stages of development of the vegetative cycle of the ratoon cane are: PID (0 to 100 days ) KcP-0,41 KcA- 0,39 KcT- 0,59, PMD (101 to 350 days) KcP- 0,73 KcA- 0,80 KcT- 0,93, PM (351 to 489 days) KcP- 0,78 KcA- 0,71 KcT- 0,94. Is was concluded that, at the 5% level of probability, KcP and KcA were not statisticaly different, but both showed significant differences of KcT
