Neste estudo, toma-se o Estado do Paraná como cenário de transformações nas relações de trabalho na agricultura, devido à verificação, no período de 1930 até recentemente, de importantes processos sociais. Isto se deu com a ocupação do seu território, exercendo um papel de elemento esvaziador de tensões sociais emergentes em outras regiões do País. O Estado recebe um grande contingente de migrantes até a década de sessenta e, a partir de então, passa a expulsar sua população para outras regiões do País. Esta inversão de situação é decorrente do processo de modernização da agricultura que se intensifica nos anos setenta, com mudanças no quadro das culturas e provocando alterações no mercado de trabalho agrícola. Tendo por objetivo a identificação das condições gerais do mercado de trabalho, da atuação sindical e da alienação do trabalhador assalariado volante, tomou-se da teoria do conflito social o instrumental básico para tais fins. Na teoria do conflito social, se identifica o pressuposto de que as sociedades possuiriam mecanismos de defesa, que seriam acionados quando do surgimento de urna situação conflitiva, e que estas sociedades poderiam se utilizar dos mecanismos de institucionalização dos conflitos, que passariam a ter um caráter de válvula de escape temporário, trazendo urna situação de acomodação, de consenso ao conflito, ou às partes conflitantes. No caso paranaense, o que se observa é a constante expansão da fronteira agrícola interna como forma esvaziadora dos conflitos pela posse da terra, e que as ocorrências de violência seriam instantes nos quais a força de controle e dominação das partes não teriam se ajustado (Contestado, Porecatu e Sudoeste). O que caracteriza o período estudado é a tranquila convivência dos empregadores e empregados, mesmo que a exploração do trabalho tenha sido uma constante. Para esta convivência se dar tranquilamente, houve a necessidade de esvaziamento das situações conflitivas, através das variações nas formas de contratação do trabalho, no controle da ação do sindicato, e na afirmação de um universo ideológico calcado no conformismo e na subordinação. Esta situação somente teria condições de mudança no instante em que a proletarização do trabalhador se desse de forma predominante, e o Estado não mais tivesse condições de esvaziamento das tensões, o que estaria ocorrendo, e que somente não se verificaria num tempo imediato, devido as possibilidades de utilização dos mecanismos válvula de escape, ainda existente em outras regiões do País.

In this study, Paraná State is taken as the scenary of changings in the relationship in the agricultural work due to the verification of the study, in the 1930s until now of importante social process. This happened with the taking and ocupation of his territory, performing a part of emptying element of social tensions, born in other regions of the country. The State received a great number of migrants until the sixties. Since then, started to expel the population to other regions of the country. This changing (inversion) of situations is decurrent from the modernization process that becomes more intensive in the sixties, with changings in the picture of the main cultures and provokating changing in the market of agricultural work. Having as purpose the identification of the general conditions of the work rnarket, of the syndicalist actuation and of the wage earner flaying worker, was taken the theory of the social conflict, the basic instrument to those purposes. In the theory of the social conflict we identify the presumption that the societies had defense mechanisms,, that would be brougth into action when a conflictive situation arises and that these societies could use of the rnechanism of institution of the conflicts, that would then have a character of temporary relieves valves, bringing out an accomrnodation situation of consensus to the conflict, or to the conflictants parts. In the paranaense case, what one can observe is the constant expansion of the internal agricultural border as a way of emptying of the conflicts for the possession of the land, and that the ocurrence of the violence would only be insitants in which the strenght of control and domination of the parts wouldn't have been adjusted (Contestado, Porecatu and Sudoeste). What characterizes the period studied is the tranquil sociability between employee anâ manager, even that the exploration of the work has been a constant rnatter. To rnake possible this tranquil sociability, there has been the need of emptying of the conflictives situatians through the variations in the ways of contracting work, in the control of the action of the trade union and in the affirrnation of an ideological universe pounded in the conformism and subordination. This situation would only have conditions of changings at the moment that the proletariation of the worker would happen in a predominant way, and if the State wont have no more internal conditions of emptying the tensions, what would be happening, and, that only wouldn't happen in an immediate time, due to the possibilities of use of the mechanism of relieves valves yet in other regions of the country.
