Avaliou-se a influencia dos genótipos de sorgo AF-28, IAC-83/75-5-1-6, TX-2536, BR-300, IPA-201 e Sart. sobre a mosca do sorgo e seus inimigos naturais. No campo, avaliaram-se o numero de moscas, Orius sp. e de Aprostocetus diplosidis em 40 panículas por genótipo bem como o de outros inimigos naturais em 40 panículas por dia durante 14 dias consecutivos apos o inicio do florescimento. Em laboratório avaliou-se a preferencia de A. diplosidis por partes do genótipo IPA-201 e panículas dos genótipos testados. As conclusões são: os genótipos AF-28 e Sart. são resistentes e suscetível respectivamente e os demais medianamente resistentes; nos genótipos AF-28 e Sart. constatam-se maiores porcentagens de parasitismo da mosca por A. diplosidis; as populações de Orius sp. e Doru lineare são maiores do segundo ao quinto dias apos o inicio do florescimento; na época da seca coleta-se maior numero de inimigos naturais do que na época das aguas; as aranhas apresentam maior numero de espécies: Alpaida vaniliae, Chiracanthium subflavum e Misumenops palidus são as mais abundantes; o genótipo IPA-201 e mais atrativo a Orius sp. e D. lineare e IAC-83/75-5-1-6 medianamente atrativo a D. lineare; as panículas com flores bem como as panículas do genótipo AF-28 avaliados em laboratório são mais atrativas ao A. diplosidis

Influence of sorghum genotypes on the migde Contarinia sorghicola (Coquillett, 1898) (Diptera, Cecidomyiidae) and its natural enemies
Abstract in English
This research deals with the influence of sorghum genotypes AF-28, IAC-83/75-5-1-6, TX-2536, BR-300, IPA-201 and Sart on the midge and its natural enemies. The number of midges, Orius sp. and Aprostocetus diplosidis in 40 panicles per genotype, and the number of other natural enemies, in 40 panicles per day, were evaluated in field conditions during fourteen days, from the beginning of the blooming period. The preference of A. diplosidis for parts of the sorghum genotype IPA-201 and for the panicles of all the genotypes tested was evaluated in laboratory. The results were as follows: AF-28 was resistant, Sart susceptible and the other genotypes showed a moderate resistance to the midge; the highest populations of the predators Orius sp. (Hemiptera-Heteroptera) and Doru lineare (Dermaptera) were observed from the second to the fifth days after the blooming period; the number of natural enemies collected from plants sowed in the dry season was higher than that from plants sowed in the rainy season; the spiders presented the highest number of species, being Alpaida vaniliae, Chiracanthium subflavum and Misumenops pallidus the most abundant ones; IPA-201 was the most attractive genotype to Orius sp. and D. lineare, while IAC-83/75-5-1-6 was only moderately attractive to D. lineare; penicles with flowers as well as panicles of the genotypes AF-28 evaluates in the laboratory were the most attractive ones to A. diplosidis
