O presente trabalho consistiu em amostrar adultos da família Cerambycidae (Insecta, Coleoptera) e foi conduzido em pomares de citros conservado e abandonado no Município de Piracicaba, SP, no período de 1983/85. As amostragens desses insetos foram realizadas semanalmente utilizando-se armadilhas confeccionadas com garrafas plásticas com melaço de cana-de-açúcar a 20%, num total de 10 armadilhas para cada pomar. Foram estudados os parâmetros faunísticos de abundância relativa, constância, dominância, frequência, diversidade, porcentagem de similaridade e quociente de similaridade, bem como a flutuação populacional das espécies dominantes, correlacionando-as com os fatores meteorológicos. Coletou-se um total de 2309 cerambicídeos pertencentes a 37 gêneros e 54 espécies, sendo que 564 indivíduos (29 espécies) foram coletados no pomar conservado e 1745 indivíduos (41 espécies) no pomar abandonado. A análise faunística revelou 6 espécies muito abundantes no pomar conservado e 9 no abandonado; 4 espécies foram constantes no pomar conservado e 9 no abandonado e 13 foram consideradas dominantes e comuns aos dois pomares. O gênero Trachyderes representou 56,02% do número total de indivíduos coletados no pomar conservado e 43,67% no abandonado. Trachyderes succinctus interruptus Dupont, 1836 apresentou a mais alta frequência nos dois pomares com 24,1% no primeiro e 29,6% no segundo, respectivamente. A espécie Macropophora accentifer (Olivier, 1795) foi a que apresentou a maior diferença no número de indivíduos coletados nos dois pomares; 8,77% no pomar conservado e 91,23% no abandonado. As espécies T. succinctus interruptus (19 14%) e M. accentifer (14,35%) foram as que apresentaram as maiores frequências durante o período de observação. Para os índices de similaridade obteve-se 4,42 e 5,36 para os pomares conservado e abandonado, respectivamente. A similaridade entre os dois pomares foi considerada boa. O teste de correlação entre as espécies selecionadas e os fatores meteorológicos mostrou que 53, 84% das espécies foram influenciadas por um ou mais fatores, sendo que a precipitação foi a variável de maior influência sobre a flutuação das espécies.

Faunistic analysis of specimens of the family Cerambycidae (Insecta, Coleoptera) collected in cultivated and uncultivated citrus orchard

This research deals with the sampling of adults of Cerambycidae (Insecta, Coleoptera) in uncultivated and cultivated citrus orchards, in the municipality of Piracicaba, State of São Paulo, Brazil, from 1983 to 1985. The samplings were weekly done by means of traps made with plastic bottles containing sugar cane syrup, using ten traps each orchard condition. The following faunistic parameters were studied: relative abundance, constancy, dominancy, frequency, diversity, percentage of similarity, and index of similarity, as well as the fluctuation population of the dominant species correlated with the meteorological factors. A total of 2,309 cerambycids belonging to 37 genera and 54 species were collected being 564 individuals (29 species) from the cultivated orchard and 1,745 individuals (41 species) from the uncultivated one. The faunistic analysis indicated that 6 species were abundant and 4 species were constant in the cultivated orchard; 9 species were abundant and 9 species were constant in the uncultivated orchard, while 13 species were dominant and common to both orchard conditions. The genus Trachyderes represented 56.02% of the total number of individuals collected in·the cultivated orchard and 43.67% in the uncultivated one. Trachyderes succinctus interruptus Dupont, 1836 presented the highest frequency in both orchard conditions: 24.1% in the cultivated and 29.6% in the uncultivated ones. The species Macropophora accentifer (Olivier, 1795) presented the highest difference in the number of individuals collected: 8.71% in the cultivated orchard and 91.23% in the uncultivated one. The species T. succinctus interruptus and M. accentifer presented the highest frequencies, 19.40% and 14.35%, respectively, during the period of collectings. The indices of similarity obtained in this research were 4.42 for the cultivated orchard and 5.36 for the uncultivated one. The similarity between the two conditions of orchard was considered a good one. The test of correlation between the selected species and the meteorological factors indicated that 53.84% of the species were influenced by one or more factors, among which rainfall was the one that most influenced on the species population.
