O presente trabalho descreve e analisa as parcerias entre empresas instaladas no Brasil e universidades tradicionais para prestação de serviços de capacitação e desenvolvimento de pessoas, bem como sua relação com a educação corporativa. Foram consultadas 45 empresas de setores diversos e classificadas em 4 categorias: (1) Empresas que afirmaram não possuir nem sistema de educação corporativa nem parcerias com universidades tradicionais; (2) empresas que afirmaram possuir tanto sistema de educação corporativa como parcerias com universidades tradicionais; (3) empresas que afirmaram possuir somente sistema de educação corporativa, sem realizar parcerias com universidades tradicionais; (4) empresas que afirmaram realizar parcerias com universidades tradicionais, sem no entanto possuir sistema de educação corporativa. O estudo descreve as parcerias do ponto de vista do tempo de realização, parceiras escolhidas, públicos atendidos, abrangência, percentual de participação nas ações e programas de T&D, interesse em realizar ou ampliar as parcerias, vantagens e desvantagens advindas da experiência das empresas e modalidade de parceria adotada. Os grupos foram comparados no sentido de evidenciar a influência da educação corporativa na quantidade e participação da parceria no total de ações e programas de T&D das empresas, bem como procurou-se estabelecer um nexo causal entre a disseminação da educação corporativa e o crescimento da busca por parcerias pelas empresas. O estudo conclui que existe uma tendência de aumento das parcerias em todas as categorias e que esse aumento coincide com a disseminação do conceito de educação corporativa no mercado. Também constata que empresas da amostra que afirmam possuir Sistema de Educação Corporativa (SEC) são mais propensas a realizar parcerias que as empresas que não possuem SEC.

This work describes and analyses partnerships between enterprises based in Brasil and formal universities with the porpose of delivering peoples capacitation and development services. It also analises the relationship between corporate education and this partnerships. The research envolved 45 enterprises from different areas that were classified into 4 categories: (1) enterprises without a corporate education system that dont had partnerships with formal universities, either; (2) enterprises with a corporate education system that also had partnerships with formal universities; (3) enterprises with a corporate education system only; (4) enterprises that had partnerships with formal universities only. The research describes the partnerships based on the time they were stablished, the partners choosed, publics envolved, partnerships objects, the amount of partnership participation in the whole T&D program, the intention of expanding partnerships, advantages and disadvantages of the partnerships. The four groups were compared in order to check the influence of corporate education in the growth of the partenerships participation in the whole T&D enterprises programs. It intended also to stablish a causal relationship between the dissemination of corporate education and the increase of partnerships number. The autor concluded that does exists a tendency of increasing partnerships in all categories analised and this is probably related to the dissemination of corporate education concepts and practices in the brazilian market. It also found out that enterprises from the sample that had Corporate Education Systems (CES) were more disposed to stating partnerships than the others.
