Estuda a produção arquitetônica internacional entre os anos 60 e os anos 80 a partir de três hipóteses de leitura: as questões da forma, da figura e da técnica. Analisa as condições que viabilizaram a manutenção de problemas modernos como a forma e a técnica após a segunda guerra mundial, quando o projeto moderno começa a dar sinais de exaustão e observa as alterações conceituais que estas questões sofreram com a retomada da questão figurativa. Examina a mudança de paradigma que representou a reincorporação da idéia de referente como o instrumento que qualifica um projeto e como este procedimento alçou a idéia de figura como o símbolo das ações contemporâneas em arquitetura.

The purpose of this work is to study the international architectural production between the 60's and 80's analyzing three hypothesis: questions of form, figure and techniques. It analyzes the conditions that allow the maintenance of modern problems such as form and techniques after World War II, when modern design showed signs of exhaustion, and observes the conceptual changes suffered by these questions on the reevaluation of figurative means. It examines the changes of paradigm that represented the reincorporation of the referential idea as the instrument that qualifies a project, and how this procedure got the idea of figure as a symbol of the contemporary actions in architecture.
