Abstract in English
With constant social, cultural, technological, scientific, economic, environmental and legal changes, healthcare organizations are forced to adapt to these new scenarios proposed for providing their services. Every change generates a need for control and adaptation to ethical, moral and legal standards pre-established for that cultural reality. Thus, when using Compliance as an organizational management tool, what is established is normative control capable of preventing the occurrence of irregularities that may interfere in the hospital environment and creating an internal culture focused on normative importance such as regulation and standardization of acts to be followed. Offering a service that complies with regulatory requirements offers the service greater reliability in decision-making and risk prevention. To carry out the work, data was collected through questionnaires filled out by employees who work in the surgical block of the Ribeirão Preto's Clinical Hospital, recording their analyzes and perspectives on the work environment. From the results it was possible to point out the relevant issues that require a restructuring process to offer health services with higher quality and safety.
