Title in English
Study of reactive planning in electrical power systems
Abstract in English
The present dissertation proposes the development of a novel approach to the solution of reactive planning problem in electrical power systems. A bibliographical survey to show the different researches developed in this area was done. This study uses langrange multipliers obtained from the optimal power flow solution, through interior point method, to determine the buses where reactive power will be allocated. Starting from the determination of these buses, a linear programming problem is solved to quantify the reactive power to be allocated. Studies were carried ou for the proposed approach validation and verification in the systems Ward & Hale of 6 buses, system of 8 buses, systems IEEE of 30 and 118 buses.
