Os sistemas de manufatura sofreram significativas alterações nos últimos anos devido à adoção de novas abordagens no gerenciamento da produção, que na presente pesquisa são idenficadas como CIM (Computer Integrated Manufacturing), MRP (Material Requirement Planning), MRP II (Manufacturing Resources Planning), JIT (Just-in-Time) e TQM (Total Quality Management). Estas novas abordagens tecnológicas e organizacionais mudaram o papel do homem no sistema produtivo. Através de uma pesquisade campo realizada em sete empresas do interior do Estado de São Paulo e, pelo levantamento do quadro teórico, a presente pesquisa apresenta um modelo teórico-concentual da área de recursos humanos e discute sua atuação no sistema produtivo como órgão de consultoria interna, para se adaptar às pressões externas e possibilitar o aproveitamento do potencial humano como arma competitiva. Identifica-se fatores chaves que fornecem suporte à nova estratégia da área, a qual está inserida na estratégia de negócios da empresa

Abstract in English
The manufacturing systems underwent significant changes in the last years due to the adoption of new approaches on the management of the production, whose current research are identified as CIM (Computer Integrated Manufacturing), MRP (Material Requirements Planning) MRP II (Manufacturing Resources Planning), JIT (Just in Time) and TQM (Total Quality Management). These new technological and organizational approaches have changed the mans role in the productive system. Within a field survey carried out in seven different companies in the interior of State of Sào Paulo and the survey of the theoretical table, this current research presents a conceptual theorical model on the area of human resources and discusses its performance within the productive system as an internai consultant means, in order to suit the pressures and to facilitate the use of the human potential as a competitive resource. Key factors are identified that provide support to the new strategy in the area, which is inserted in the business strategy of the company.
