O CAPP (Computer Aided Process Planning) atua sobre o planejamento de processo assim como o CAD atua sobre o projeto, e tem assumido cada vez mais importância para balancear os esforços de integração da manufatura. Mesmo em posição estratégica, a aplicação de sistemas CAPP não é muito difundida, devido à sua história de tentativas de automação do raciocínio humano e a sua complexidade. Neste trabalho será apresentado o desenvolvimento e aplicação prática de um sistema CAPP automático para peças paramétricas, onde o automatismo é focado no uso de algoritmos e fórmulas matemáticas para cálculo de ferramental do processo e geração automática de ilustrações para auxílio ao chão-de-fábrica

The CAPP (Computer Aided Process Planning) acts on process planning as CAD (Computer Aided Design) acts on part design, and has acquired more and more importance to balance the manufacturing integration efforts. Despite its strategic position, CAPP systems application is not very large, due to its history of trials to automate human reasoning and its inherent complexity. In this work the development and practical application of an automatic CAPP system for parametric parts will be shown, where automation is focused on the use of mathematical formulas for process tooling calculation and automatic generation of drafts for helping the shop floor.
