A procura por soluções para o aumento dos custos de disposição final e a crescente preocupação com a qualidade do meio ambiente tem impulsionado as empresas a adotarem um política de gerenciamento ambiental em todas as fases de seus processos, para tal, estas contam com a norma da série ISO 14000. The search for solutions for the increase of the costs of final disposition and the growing concern with the quality of the environment has been impelling the companies to they adopt it a politics of environmental management in all the phases of its processes, for such, these count with the norm of the series ISO 14000. The minimization of residues is that class goes it represents a new concept of environmental management based in the reduction in the source. This work presents reduction techniques in the source, recycle and alternatives for minimization of organic residues, health services wastes of and potentially you recycled generated in industrial activities, using the company GE Dako S/ A, located in the city of Campinas, São Paulo.
