Trata-se de pesquisa exploratória qualitativa, na linha de pesquisa Educação em Saúde e formação de Recursos Humanos, realizada a partir de vinte entrevistas com profissionais de enfermagem (auxiliares, técnicos e enfermeiros) de um Centro de Atenção Integral à Saúde do interior paulista. O estudo tem dois objetivos: i) identificar o conceito de integralidade nas representações e práticas dos participantes; ii) verificar o conteúdo destas representações e estabelecer interlocuções com o pensamento do marco teórico da pesquisa, o filósofo metafísico Huberto Rohden, para quem a integralidade é harmonização com a fonte de perfeita vida, saúde e felicidade. Os dados coletados foram analisados a partir da técnica científica da Análise de Conteúdo Categorial Temática, que opera a transformação de elementos textuais brutos em elementos representativos de conteúdo, posteriormente agrupados em Unidades de Registro Temáticas (URT). Foram encontradas cinquenta e uma URT transformadas em dezoito Categorias Temáticas (CT) mais abrangentes. Dentre as CT, cinco fomentaram discussões sobre a integralidade para os profissionais, sete sobre interlocuções com o marco teórico, três sobre conteúdos variados e três sobre conteúdos que desviavam do sentido principal da pergunta (denominados manifestações tergiversantes). O estudo encontrou a coexistência de elementos de afastamento e de aproximação entre as integralidades do discurso científico e a integralidade metafísica. Apesar de obstáculos - como as opções da área de enfermagem por aspectos práticos do cuidado e dificuldades com questões abstratas - os elementos de aproximação mostraram-se mais determinantes, resultando um tratamentos de dados com expressivas contraposições e complementações a partir do pensamento de Rohden. Como linhas conclusivas, o estudo encontrou a evidência de que movimentos educativos com a integralidade de viés metafísico, sobretudo impulsionados pela prática da cosmo-meditação, poderão favorecer o cuidado integral dos profissionais em saúde mental, melhorando a qualidade de vida oferecida nos serviços de saúde.

It is a qualitative exploratory research, in the line of research in Health Education and Human Resources training, carried out from twenty interviews with nursing professionals (assistants, technicians and nurses) from a Center for Comprehensive Health Care in the interior of São Paulo state. The study has two objectives: i) to identify the concept of integrality in the representations and practices of the participants; ii) verify the content of these representations and establish interlocutions with the thought of the theoretical framework of the research, the metaphysical philosopher Huberto Rohden, for whom health is one of the attributes of the education of the integral man. The collected data were analyzed using the scientific technique of Thematic Categorical Content Analysis, which operates the transformation of raw textual elements into representative elements of content, later grouped into thematic record units (TRU). Fifty-one TRUs were found, transformed into eighteen more comprehensive Thematic Categories (TC). Among these TC, five fostered discussions about comprehensiveness for professionals, seven about interlocutions with the theoretical framework, three about varied content and four about content that deviated from the main meaning of the question (called "tergiversating manifestations"). The study found elements coexistence of distance and approximation between the integralities of scientific discourse and the metaphysical integrality. Despite obstacles - such as the options in nursing area for practical aspects of care and difficulties with abstract issues - the elements of approximation proved to be more determinant, resulting in a treatment of data with expressive contrasts and complements from Rohden's thought. As conclusive lines, the study found evidence that educational movements with a comprehensive metaphysical bias, especially driven by the practice of cosmo-meditation, may favor the comprehensive care of mental health professionals, improving the quality of life offered in health services.
