Abstract in English
This project represents a reflection upon the possibilities of inserting art within city spaces. its object is a series of works produced between 1997 and 2002. in discussing the concept of 'site specificity', the dissertation touches upon certain existing relationships between image and space in order to formulate the concept of the transitive interval: an action which occurs within the fissures of processes of alteration and transformation of the urban landscape while, simultaneously, acting upon our pre-conceived codes of perception by operating a re-signification of the constitutive dimensions of the 'place of the action' as well as the construction of one 'place' within the other.
