Abstract in English
Post-truth and fake news have emerged as global order terms. Reflections on contemporaneity suggest that in the rapidity of postmodernity and in the face of so many possibilities provided by the multiplicity of information and media sources - traditional and digital, immediatism has generated a profusion of fake news , fabricated stories, rumors, misinformation and headlines who look for clicks and turn news into a source of wealth. Content quality is an increasingly prominent problem in the network society generated by the overload of information that afflicts humanity. In this panorama, the present study sought to understand the origin, concepts, situations, impacts generated in this post-truth environment, through the analysis of published scientific articles, essentially in the sphere of political science. Algorithms are largely responsible for forming social bubbles and monetizing news. Authorities, corporations and social and humanitarian entities are awakening to the imminent problem, but so far little has been done to curb the proliferation of false news. Ahead of this, technology evolves as an ally of fake news .
