As técnicas instrumentais estendidas da música contemporânea de concerto dos séculos XX e XXI têm sua intitulação entre as décadas de 1970 e 80. No mesmo período, começam a surgir os catálogos e manuais instrumentais contemporâneos, cuja parcela relevante vai se concentrar majoritariamente nos aspectos mecânicos das técnicas estendidas. Nesta pesquisa de mestrado, analisamos as técnicas estendidas catalogadas e descritas em alguns manuais instrumentais publicados entre 1970 e 2010, bem como aquelas contidas em algumas obras de compositores e compositoras do Brasil e também internacionais, objetivando seus aspectos sonoros, mecânicos e suas proposições de aspectos culturais, a partir de suas similaridades com práticas musicais de fora do contexto da música contemporânea de concerto. Para tanto, os processos analítico sonoro-musical e composicional e os processos de identificação das relações e similaridades interculturais desta pesquisa estão se unindo também às práticas composicionais, conferindo a este trabalho, além de sua parte voltada à pesquisa acadêmica, uma parte dedicada à apresentação, escuta, discussão e análise dos processos criativos de nove composições minhas escritas e performar durante este mestrado.

Abstract in English
The extended instrumental techniques of contemporary music of the 20th and 21st centuries were titled between the 1970s and 80s. extended techniques. In this master's research, we analyze the extended techniques cataloged and described in some instrumental manuals published between 1970 and 2010, as well as those contained in some works by Brazilian and international composers, aiming at their sound and mechanical aspects and their propositions of aspects cultural practices, based on their similarities with musical practices outside the context of contemporary concert music. To this end, the sound-musical and compositional analytical processes and the processes of identifying the intercultural relationships and similarities of this research are also joining compositional practices, giving this work, in addition to its part dedicated to academic research, a part dedicated to the presentation , listening, discussion and analysis of the creative processes of nine of my compositions written and performed during this master's degree.
