Este trabalho, intitulado REFUGOS, é composto por uma série de 13 fotomontagens reproduzidas neste volume e um memorial descritivo que procura explicitar as etapas do desenvolvimento de minha pesquisa em seus aspectos conceituais e técnicos. Parto de uma ampla pesquisa sobre imagens de cidades. Este conjunto compreende fotos capturadas por mim nos meus percursos cotidianos, outras são provenientes da internet e outras mais, coletadas em jornais impressos. As fotomontagens são a combinatória de fragmentos deste material. Nelas, a cidade é apresentada sob diversos ângulos, como se fosse uma explosão de eventos simultâneos. Na parte final deste volume encontra-se uma seleção de citações: trechos de textos dos autores pesquisados e manchetes de jornal. Esses fragmentos formam parte do repertório teórico do meu trabalho.

This work titled REFUGOS [WASTE] is composed of a series of 13 photomontages reproduced in this volume and a descriptive memorial that seeks to explain the stages of development of my research in its conceptual and technical aspects. I start with a wide research on urban images. This set includes pictures taken by me in my daily routes; others are from the internet and more, collected from newspapers. The photomontages are the combinatorial of these material fragments. In them, the city is presented through different angles, as an explosion of simultaneous events. At the end of this volume, I present a selection of quotes: text excerpts from authors surveyed and newspaper headlines. These fragments are part of the theoretical repertoire of my work.
