Abstract in English
Língua, a word that in Portuguese, we use to signify the system of communication (língua as language) and the muscle within the mouth (língua as tongue), unfolds in this dissertation through essays carried out in different topographies: diary, letter, interview, poem, dream record, page, screen, photo, scanner, skin, voice. I proposed not to separate writing and artistic practice based on references from visual arts, artists publications in different media, and dance. Much of the process took place in concurrence with the public health crisis, punctuating in real-time the adaptations experienced, and their vocabularies. If the productions explore the conventional form of text, in line, they also experiment with its dissolution, bringing writing/reading closer to movement in the body.
