Abstract in English
This thesis Other Images - Painting After Internet is divided in two volumes. From three main vectors - painting, digital image and the Internet - I tried, in the first volume, to establish a dialogue between the 1960s artist's approach to appropriated imagery from mass media, and the intensions of Internet artists from the 2000s, as a possible path to investigate the ways by which the web influences the contemporary pictorial production. On the second volume, I present part of my personal trajectory on painting, emphasizing works produced during the development of this thesis, when a software was conceived and integrated to the process
