Em sociedades informatizadas, testemunhamos a intensificação, no âmbito das redes sociais, de um antigo hábito de representações artísticas e/ou documentais do corpo o que remonta, de sua vez, à história da realização de retratos e autorretratos, bem como o de produção de máscaras mortuárias conforme ressaltado por Belting (2019). De um lado, temos um corpo imerso em seu universo de interações e experiências, que envolve, à luz da fenomenologia peirciana, três categorias, primeiridade (sentimento), segundidade (experiência de alteridade) e terceiridade (mediação). De outro lado, temos as relações de representações sígnicas (ou mediativas de terceiridade) desse mesmo corpo, como é o caso de imagens aqui entendidas pela noção de corpos virtuais. Investigamos, neste trabalho as complexas relações entretecidas entre corpo e suas representações sígnicas, bem como as mútuas implicações dessas semioses no âmbito da constituição de hábitos e da ação de usuário de redes sociais. Hábitos situados no domínio digital podem ser incorporados na conduta de usuários, trazendo resultados positivos e negativos, sob óticas variadas e definidas. A presente proposta de pesquisa tem como fundamento o arcabouço teórico da fenomenologia, do pragmatismo e da semiótica peircianas, a partir da análise dos conceitos de categorias fenomenológicas, experiência, corpo-objeto, corpo-signo, corpointerpretante, hábito e corpos virtuais. Além disso, por se tratar de uma pesquisa de cunho interdisciplinar, lançamos mão de contribuições reflexivas de áreas como Antropologia e Artes visuais a fim de enriquecer a análise investigativa proposta.

In digital societies, we are witnessing the intensification, in the context of social networks, of an ancient habit of artistic and/or documentary representations of the body which in turn goes back to the history of portraits and self-portraits, as well as the production of death masks as pointed out by Belting (2019). On one hand, we have a body immersed in its universe of interactions and experiences, which, in light of Peircian phenomenology, involves three categories: firstness (feeling), secondness (experience of otherness), and thirdness (mediation). On the other hand, we have the relations of sign representations (or mediations of thirdness) of this same body, as is the case with images understood here by the notion of virtual bodies. In this work, we investigate the complex relations between the body and its sign representations, as well as the mutual implications of these semiosis in the context of the constitution of habits and of the actions of users on social networks. Habits situated in the digital domain can be incorporated into the behavior of users, bringing positive and negative results, from a variety of defined perspectives. This research proposal is grounded on the theoretical framework of Peircian phenomenology, pragmatism, and semiotics, based on an analysis of the concepts of phenomenological categories, experience, body-object, body-sign, body-interpreter, habit, and virtual bodies. In addition, as this is an interdisciplinary study, we made use of theoretical contributions from areas such as Anthropology and Visual Arts, in order to enrich the proposed analysis.
