Abstract in English
This research analyzes the videos produced by Escuela Audiovisual al Borde, from the Colombian collective Mujeres al Borde, which carries out itinerant audiovisual teaching activities and promotes the production of autobiographical documentaries in several countries in South America. The objective is to investigate how films made in Escuela relate to decolonial and feminist theories from Latin America to carry out a communicative practice that transgresses hegemonic logic. The methodology used is Critical Narrative Analysis, which allows for analyzing the narrative intentions of the protagonists of the documentaries. It was investigated one film from each of the Escuela's six editions, and it was noticed that there is a strong relationship not only between the movies but also the structure of the Escuela itself, with the decolonial perspective. These perceptions also highlight how different countries in the region, having similar historical contexts, face the same challenges, especially when we are talking about women and people who dissent from gender norms.
