Um sistema para medir o desempenho de turbinas hidráulicas de Tesla foi projetado, construído e testado. Este sistema permite o ensaio de turbinas de até 1,5 KW, torque de saída de 8 Nm em rotação de 5000 rpm, com entrada de água de até 0,6 MPa a10 1/s. A bancada foi projetada para permitir que as turbinas a serem ensaiadas possam ser facilmente montadas e desmontadas, sem perturbar o resto do sistema. Para a verificação experimental da bancada e o estabelecimento de um procedimento deensaio, uma turbina de Tesla representativa também foi projetada e construída. Os dados do seu desempenho foram satisfatoriamente levantados, mostrando o bom funcionamento do sistema como um todo.

Abstract in English
A system for the performance testing of hydraulic Tesla turbines has been designed, build and verified. This system is able to test turbines of up to 1.5kW, output torque of 8 Nm at 5000 rpm, with the water entering at a maximun pressure of 0.6 MPa at a flow rate of 10 1/s. The test bench was designed so that the turbines can be mounted and desmounted with ease, without disturbing the resto f the system. For the experimental verification of the bench and to establish a testing procedure, a representative Tesla turbine was also designed and built. The performance data of this turbine was satisfactorially measured, demonstrating that the system, as a whole, works well.
