Estuda-se a influência da espessura da camada anodizada, na condição não selada, sobre o atrito no recalque de anéis de alumínio AA 1050-O. Os ensaios seguiram um planejamento experimental, para as condições de interface: a seco e lubrificado, geometrias de anel (6:3:1) e (6:3:2); e dois níveis de recalque. São investigados os tratamentos de anodização sulfúrica comum, anodização sulfúrica dura e anodização crômica; com tempos de 15, 30 e 45 minutos. Procede-se uma modelagem pelo método do limite superior que permite a obtenção do fator de atrito para cada condição. A partir destes dados, é formulada uma modelagem quantitativa do efeito da espessura da camada anodizada no comportamento de atrito do alumínio sob deformação plástica volumétrica.

The influence of unsealed anodic oxidation layers on friction during aluminum parts undergoing bulk deformation ring upsetting tests was investigated. The experimental development included room temperature tests with dry and lubricated interface conditions, (6:3:1) and (6:3:2) rings geometry and two upsetting levels. The aluminum specimens treatments were sulfuric anodizing, hard anodizing and chromic anodizing; for 15, 30 and 45 minutes. Calibration curves modeled by na Upper Bound Method are used to analyze the anodized layer thickness influences on the shear friction factor of aluminum parts bulk plastic forming.
