O estudo sobre o comportamento dinâmico dos sistemas de manufatura é fundamental para verificar a existência e para solucionar a ocorrência de fenômenos indesejáveis, e muito comuns, como o deadlock e a colisão. Propõe-se, neste sentido, a especificação e implementação de uma ferramenta protótipo para análise dos sistemas de manufatura. A ferramenta utiliza uma abordagem hierárquica e estruturada (top-down) através da metodologia mfg/pfs (mark flow graph/production flow schema). E, para solucionar conflitos que ocorrem nos sistemas, associa-se um arbitro externo baseado em regras de produção. Estas regras associadas sao eficientes no sentido de que permite a simplificação do modelo, pois toda a lógica responsável pela representação das condições necessárias para resolver uma situação de conflito, e transferida para o arbitro externo em forma de regras.

The investigation about dynamics behavior of manufacturing systems is importante to verify and to solve problems (features) like a deadlock and collision. In this contexto, we propose the specification and implementation of a prototype tool to analyze manufacturing systems. This tool is based on a top-down approach through of MFG/PFS methodology. To solve conflicts occurred in these systems, an external arbiter, based on Production Rules, is applied. These rules are an eficient mechanism to simplify the model, because all logical represent conditions, necessary to solve conflicts, are transferred to an external arbiter, in Production Rules.
