Abstract in English
The objective of this work was basically the search of an operational solution for the hydrodynamic drawing, with practical possibility of industrialization in the future. Based on the information we gathered from the available literature and from the present state of technological development of this processual art, in manufactures and users of this type of equipment, we decided to present this study and project. It is, therefore, a hydrodynamic drawing machine system, with an oil pressure conic chamber which allows the inner fixation of the reel which contains the raw material to be drawn. Independently of this purpose, we were successfull, while elaborating this study, in proving, by means of experiences being developed, the validity of the available theories of Geleji and Avitzur for the evaluation of drawing forces and powers. With the proposed system, when operating with forced lubrication, we featured a considerable energetic gain, when compared with conventional drawing systems without oil pressure. From this energetic gain, we determined new values for the friction factors. These new friction factors conform with the operational hydrodynamic limits.
