Abstract in English
The aim of this thesis is to study the acoustic absorption caracteristics of non woven polyester blankets with lobular filaments found in the national market in order to compare them with the properties of blankets with cilindrical filaments. This study is very important because it allows a better knowledge of the acoustic properties of the above mentioned alternative material, wich has low cost, and was initially developed for geotextile purposes. The properties measurement Will be done using the impedance tube with two microphones, wich was already regulated by the ASTM E-1050 85ª (1982). Experimental results are still going to be compared with theoretical method described by Uno Ingard [14].
