Keywords in Portuguese
Engenharia de minas

Abstract in English
This work presents the grinding simulation of talc using pebbles, through the locked cycle technique. The study involved samples of talc from the following mines, in Parana State: Ferradinho, Flor, Barra Moura and G-18. The results showed the validity of the locked cycle technique, allowing the grinding circuits to be optimized in a simple way considering the size distribution of the final product. For its simplicity, this technique can be used as an alternative to mathematical simulation.
