Este trabalho aborda o problema do posicionamento de plataformas semi-submersíveis. De início, desenvolveu-se um método para a monitoração em tempo real da posição planar de unidades flutuantes amarradas, partindo das medições das tensões geradas no topo das linhas componentes do sistema de amarração. A monitoração da posição planar da unidade flutuante obtém-se através de um programa desenvolvido para esta finalidade. Com o objetivo de poder avaliar o método proposto, utiliza-se uma bancada de ensaio que se constitui de um modelo em escala reduzida da plataforma e de um sistema de sensores dinâmicos para a aquisição e análise da sinais. Finalmente, são apresentados e analisados os resultados de simulações de movimentos efetuados na bancada para avaliar o desempenho do sistema proposto.

This work studies semisubmersible platforms positioning problems. A method for real time monitoring of the moored floating units planar position was developed using the information obtained from the measuring of the generated tensions at the top of the mooring system componente lines. The method was evaluated with a scale reduced model. The monitoring of the floating unit planar position is obtained using a software specifically developed for this purpose. For evaluating the proposed method, a testing device composed by a reducedscale modelo f the platform and a dynamics sensors system to acquire and analyze the signals was used. The outputs obtained from the simulated movements induced in the model in order to evaluate the proposed system performance are presented and analyzed.
