Esta dissertação propõe um método computacional para projeto de navios pesqueiros de forma automatizada, calculando as dimenões principais, sistema propulsivo, estabilidade e arranjo geral básico, que atendam aos requisitos operacionais definidos pelo amador, e que possa dar ao projetista meios para realizar a engenharia otimizada. O objetivo primordial deste trabalho é a elaboração de um programa de computador, que reflita, de uma maneira sistemática, a filosofia do projeto de uma embarcação pesqueira e os outros objetivos secundários foram gerados neste trabalho: um programa de integração que defina as dimensões principais da embarcação, que analise a estabilidade, sistema de propulsão e o arranjo estrutural da embarcação. Inovação do método tradicional da espiral de projeto para um sistema automatizado que sintetize cada uma das fases da espiral de projeto. A integração dos programas já existentes, para que trabalhem conjuntamente num só sistema, de tal forma que o resultado de um, seja o ponto inicial do seguinte. Uma das características mais importantes deste programa é a quantidade mínima de entrada de dados, já que os dados serão lidos dos arquivos gerados pelos programas integrados.

This report propose a computer system for fishing vessels design, by anautomatic way. The principals dimensions, propulsive system, stability and general arrangement can be obtained which attend the operational requirements defined by the owners and could give to the designer means to do the optimal engineering design. The principal goal of this work is the elaboration of a computer program, which consist by an systematic way, the design philosophy of the fishing vessels. The following another secondary objetives were obtained: A integrated program wich defines the principal dimensions of the vessel, stability analyses, propulsion systems and the structural arrangement of the vessel was developed. Substitution of the traditional design spiral by an automated system in which each phases of the design spiral is resumed. The use of the existing programs and integrate them to work together inside a system. The output o fone program should be the input of the other. One of the most important characteristics of this program is the minimum quantity of input data, because the data will be read from the files created by the integrated programs.
