Abstract in English
The ant colony metaheuristic has been applied since 1991 to solve several kinds of mathematical problems and part of these problems is the scheduling optimization. Short-term oil allocation, which involves choosing the most suitable oil to be processed at refineries over time, can be modeled as a scheduling problem. In this paper, a model was developed, constituted of port, terminal, oil pipeline and refinery, capable of representing the oil allocation process starting from its arrival on a ship and finishing at the refinery during a time horizon of a few days. An ant colony algorithm was implemented and parameterized for this application and a satisfactory result was obtained, but it gets slower as the dimension of the problem increases.
