Abstract in English
The aim of this present study was to investigate how futsal players dealled visually with interpersonal coordination information. 180 players have taken part in this study. They played 18 matches in actual premises. 32 men and 4 women played by using the eye tracking system named eye tracking Tobii Glasses II. 45 sequences of play in which players performed a kick were analyzed from a digital imaging by the KINOVEA 8.27 software. It was considered from the moment one player passed the ball to the moment the player performed a kick. Based on these procedures the variables considered for analysis were: (i) relative angle of kicking composed by the interaction amongst the kicker, his/her nearest defender; (ii) (ii) distance between kicker and the defender; (iii) distance between kicker and the goalkeeper. Furthermore, where and when this information were within the visual field along the match sequence were recorded as visual information. They were analyzed in terms of eye tracking variable based on the number of time all eyes have gazed on such information. Based on results, it was concluded that: (1). not determine I-CI identification; (2) participants most likely focused their eyes towards some other information besides I-CI; (3) players made decisions based on central mechanism and on perception-action coupling; (4) players' level did not influence how they dealled with the eye tracking information; (5) angular and interpersonal speeds as well as interpersonal distance and angular variabilities did not influence visual search. In sum, results allow considering that, differently from what has been inferred on studies about interpersonal coordination, the decision is apparently not only determined by the interpersonal coordination information.
