Abstract in English
The analog relashionship in between electrical and hidraulic flow parameters in porous media, indicate a possibility of a method to be used by researchers in geophysical and hidrogeological studies to get a first hand information about problems related to aquifers characterization and use of groundwater in a feasible, economic and quick way. We have investigated and obtained relationship in between geoelectrical and hidrodinamical parameters, measured in a sedimentary aquifer represented by the "Grupo Bauru" sandstones in the basin of "Rio Turvo" in São Paulo State at its third superior, with an area of 2.068 km². Ninethy electric soundings were made for determination of electrical parameters, such a bulk resistivity, transversal resistivity and longitudinal conductance of saturated layer. These soundings were made close to water wells for a better control of local geological conditions. A computer program was used for the interpretation of vertical electric sounding data. Hydrodinamical parameters such as specific yield, hidraulic conductivity and hidraulic transmissivity were obtained by well tests, realized by hidrogeological recognizing program, developed in a integrated work of DAEE/IG-USP, in 1981. A geomagnetic investigation, involving 267 stations for measuring the vertical component of terrestrial field, showed that the surface irregularities on basalt top are not much significative. They approximately follow the regional relief, and presents some local embasements or high structural, reflexting respectively a higher or lower thickness of the sediment layer. The spatial distribution of these data allowed the construction of a isovalues (isogamas) chart, in which we can see these facts. The statistical analysis of the correlation coefficients, showed a high fitness in between the correlated geoelectrical and hidrogeological, parameters data. So, it can be seen that useful informations, about aquifers and groundwater movements, can be obtained from the knowledge of its geoelectricals characteristics by way of geophysical investigations at the soil level, in areas where indispensable previous geological informations indicates the presence of similar structures.
