O objetivo deste trabalho e dar um tratamento matematico, via analise nao standard, para a conjectura de edgeworth. Esta conjectura relaciona dois tipos de equilibrio economico, o core e o equilibrio walrasiano, com a seguinte afirmacao: o crescimento do numero de agentes em uma economia de trocas faz com o core decresca, aproximando-se do equilibrio competitivo ou walrasiano
