Superficies com curvatura media constante no espaco hiperbolico

Este trabalho se baseia no artigo surfaces of mean curvature one in hyperbolic space de robert bryant (2). As superficies no espaco hiperbolico com h 'CONSTANTEMENTE IGUAL' a 1 possuem algumas propriedades semelhantes as validas para as minimas no espaco euclidiano enquanto outras dessas propriedades falham. Entre os resultados apresentados, temos: 1) a aplicacao de gauss hiperbolica e conforme se, h 'CONSTANTEMENTE IGUAL' a 1 ou a imersao e totalmente umbilica. 2) essas superficies nao sao compactas. 3) existe um teorema de representacao, para tais superficies, atraves de imersoes nulas em 'SL' (2,c), com a metrica de cartan-killing.4) exemplos dessas superficies mostram que nao ha uma quantizacao para a curvatura total, nem sempre a aplicacao de gauss hiperbolica se estende para os fins e nao ha, em geral, relacao entre a curvatura total e o grau dessa aplicacao. 5) uma classificacao das superficies simplesmente conexas com h 'CONSTANTEMENTE IGUAL' a 1
