Abstract in English
In this thesis we designed and implemented a monitor for ditributed and composite events (EPS) which is able to process generic events. Since it is general-purpose, it can be used for a wide range of applications, such as Database Systems,NetworkManagement and Industrial Automation. Event processing within the monitor is based on aggregate trees. This structure enables root nodes representing composite events to share common sub-trees and allows for sub-trees to be processedjust once, independent of the number of root nodes. This increase the efficiency of the event processing setting, such as message latency and delivery of messages out of order
